About Brookland United Methodist Church
In 1884 property was bought and the first church/schoolhouse was built in the town of Brookland; and to this day a United Methodist Church has been part of the community of Brookland, Arkansas. During those 128 years, Brookland UMC has been a place of learning for the children of our community. That tradition has continued with Sunday School and Vacation Bible School programs.
From our humble beginning, Brookland UMC has been a church that has reached out to the community and its people to not only help meet their spiritual needs, but their physical needs as well. We continue to reach out with our various ministries, such as our food pantry and our UMW. Our mission as a church remains one of reaching the lost for Jesus Christ, and giving aid to those who are hungry, homeless and in need of help.
We hope that you feel at home and the presence of the Holy Spirit at Brookland United Methodist Church. When you enter our doors we want you to know that you are not just a face, you’re family!
